GOD'S SONGS

Song of love, songs of love, in gentle beat
My heart stirs and my soul informs
To form a tear or many tears, to chill my form
And to reflect the purity of thy songs
That gives to me that simple, lovely, feeling
Which makes life the majesty the majesty of it all

COUNT THE YEARS
(7 March 1973)

Count the years one by one
You and I through the years
Many smiles and yet many tears
WE two alone all alone
First there's one, then two, and later three
And as you see no longer alone
Count the years one by one
As silver thread is woven
It's a life so much more than two

A CHRISTMAS WISH

Blessed is the day I once knew
When as a child I needed no clue
And upon bended knees with hands pressed
Sang a joyous halleluiah from my breast
For the birth of One and yet of all
And in the sunshine of my days I cry
For those childish moments of my faith
When all the world was mine to hold
In the vastness of my heart and purity of my soul
To want again my bended knee in prayer
And with fervent feeling to be nearer to Thee

CROSS OF CROSSES

Oh Cross of crosses where is though hidden
Amongst the glitter and glint of all that is silver and gold
Where is that simple splinter of natural wood
On which You hung in all Your natural splendor
Oh Cross of crosses where is though hidden
Amongst the glitter and glint of all that is silver and gold
Where is that simple splinter of natural wood
On which You hung in all Your natural splendor
